For the Hemsworth brothers, New Year’s Eve was a stylish family affair.

Chris Hemsworth, 42 and his wife Elsa Pataky, 49, ushered in 2026 alongside his brother Liam, 35, and Liam’s fiancée Gabriella Brooks, 29.

The foursome were joined by several others as they celebrated aboard a yacht in Australia with spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and a nighttime fireworks display.

Avengers: Endgame star Chris, Interceptor actress Pataky and Brooks, a model, each shared carousels of photos featuring the festivities on social media. In one photo, Liam proudly held up a cover of Harper's Bazaar Australia featuring Brooks.

“Happy New Year!!! Hope you have a wonderful 2026!” Pataky captioned her Instagram post, while Chris and Brooks also wished their followers a happy New Year.

The celebration comes just five days after Chris and Pataky — who are parents to India, 13, and 11-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan — marked 15 years of marriage on Dec. 26.

The couple, who celebrated the holidays in Fiji, wed in December 2010, the same year they were introduced by the actor’s agent.

“He really inspires me. I never met anybody who works so hard,” Pataky told PEOPLE about her husband in 2022, the same year the pair collaborated on the action movie Interceptor.

The Spanish actress explained that the pair, who moved from the U.S. to the Hemsworths’ native Australia in 2015, aim to stagger their schedules in order to prioritize parenting

“We try not to work at the same time” she said, adding that they like to “come home and be a dad and a mom with the kids.”

The Hunger Games actor Liam — who was previously wed to Miley Cyrus — was first linked to Brooks, a fellow Australia native, in 2019. The model announced their engagement on Instagram in September 2025 with a simple photo featuring a diamond ring on her left hand.

“I’m incredibly excited,” Liam told Savannah Guthrie during an appearance on the Today show in October. He explained that he proposed “a few months” prior.

“We’re super excited,” he added. “It’s a happy time in life.”

The next day, he admitted on The Tonight Show he “didn't have a huge plan behind the engagement,” adding, "I mean, I had enough of a plan to have bought the ring, but I was sort of just waiting for the right moment."
