Cruz Beckham is updating fans on the alleged feud between his parents David and Victoria Beckham and older brother Brooklyn.
On Sunday, Dec. 21, Cruz, 20, shared a screenshot of a Daily Mail article about his parents "unfollowing" Brooklyn, 26, to his Instagram Stories.
In text under the screenshot, he denied that his parents unfollowed their eldest son, claiming that Brooklyn blocked him and his parents on the social media app instead.
"NOT TRUE,” Cruz wrote. “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let's get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.”
Since the alleged blocking, the Beckham parents no longer follow Brooklyn on Instagram, and he no longer follows them. The couple do, however, follow their younger children Cruz and Romeo, 23, while 14-year-old Harper has a private Instagram account.
Brooklyn's wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, also does not follow David and Victoria on Instagram, and they do not follow her either.
Cruz's comments come shortly after fans noticed Brooklyn and Nicola have been noticeably absent from various family outings this year.
Most notable, in May, the young couple did not attend David's 50th birthday party in London. Victoria, Romeo, Cruz and Harper all attended the event.
At the time, it was reported that the duo were invited to the birthday bash, but skipped due to Romeo's new girlfriendKim Turnbull — who allegedly used to date Brooklyn.
However, Cruz again took it upon himself to defend his family, replying to a commenter on Instagram by writing, "Brooklyn and Kim never dated."
Rumors of a possible family feud started back in 2022, the same year of Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding. It was rumored that tensions arose between Nicola and Victoria after the former chose not to wear one of the fashion designer's wedding dresses for the ceremony, despite previously agreeing to do so.
A source told People earlier this year that the feud rumors between the two were true, while a second insider claimed that the dress situation is "far from the truth." A third source noted that, while relationships are strained at the moment, they are not "beyond repair."
"There are tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola and the family," a source told People in May. "The relationship is definitely not beyond repair. They love and are always there for him. They’re just hurt and disappointed that he’s now playing no part in family life."
