Jasen Kaplan, a celebrity makeup artist and former contestant on *Finding Prince Charming* has died at 46, making him the second alum of the reality dating series to die in December.

Page Six broke the news that Kaplan had died on Dec. 31, reporting that New York City police are investigating the death of a 46-year-old man at a Hell's Kitchen apartment belonging to Kaplan.

Kaplan is the second star from the 2016 Logo reality dating series to die within a month. In early December, news broke that former contestant Chad Spodick had died at 42. His cause of death was later revealed as a suicide.

Among the makeup artist's roster of celebrity clients was Kelly Osbourne, who paid tribute to her close friend after news of his death on New Year's Eve.

"I'm devastated. I love you so much," Osbourne wrote over a collage of pictures she took with Kaplan over the years that she shared on Instagram on Thursday. "Thank you for all the love, laughter, and joy you brought to my life. I hope you are at peace now. Life will never be the same without you! RIP, my dear friend!"**

Osbourne posted six stories mourning her loss, documenting her yearslong friendship and creative collaboration with Kaplan. "I promise to make sure Coco is always looked after," Osbourne wrote in one, referring to Kaplan's dog. In another, posted over a shot of the pair on a call while Kaplan was in bed, Osbourne wrote, "I will forever miss our late-night FaceTimes!"

"You were the best wingman a girl could ask for. 25 years of friendship, and every second was worth it," Osbourne captioned another selfie, saying in a final video that "no one was as funny" as Kaplan, especially when he "dressed up" as Osbourne.****

Kaplan had been working with an impressive list of celebrity clients for more than two decades at the time of his death. He broke through to widespread recognition after landing a gig doing makeup for the mother-and-daughter socialite duo Brittny and Lisa Gastineau on their 2005 E! reality series, *The Gastineau Girls*.

In the following years, he collaborated with *The Real Housewives of New York *stars Bethenny Frankel, Tinsley Mortimer, and Sonja Morgan, as well as actresses Eva Longoria and Lynda Carter and singer Cyndi Lauper.
