Just over three months after leaving WWE, Kofi and Austin Creed have resurfaced with a notable appearance on Chris Jericho’s upcoming Rock ‘N Wrestling Rager at Sea.

While the booking has already sparked plenty of discussion among wrestling fans, it still leaves one important question unanswered about the duo’s next destination.

The event, now in its seventh edition, will sail from Miami to the Bahamas from Nov. 7 through Nov. 11. Kofi and Creed have been announced as “Super Massive Guest Captains.” This marks their first appearance on Jericho’s wrestling-themed cruise since departing WWE at the beginning of May.

Chris Jericho officially announced the additions alongside Harley Cameron, Lady Frost and Myla Grace. He wrote on Instagram: “It’s a brand new day and we are beyond excited to announce that Kofi and Austin Creed are making their Jericho Cruise debut! Get ready for Unicorns, Trombones, Gaming, Pancakes and so much more.”

The announcement is notable because Kofi Kingston is now billed simply as “Kofi,” while Xavier Woods is once again using the name Austin Creed. The pair also recently released their animated short, Daybreak, on July 29. It depicts their escape from the circus — a creative nod that kept fans talking after their WWE exit.

Naturally, the cruise booking has reignited speculation about a possible AEW future. However, nothing has been confirmed regarding either wrestler signing with the promotion. For now, any link between this appearance and an eventual AEW debut remains just that — speculation.

Still, the timing is hard to ignore. With the duo’s reported non-compete period now behind them, every move they make is likely to be viewed through a different lens. Their cruise appearance may not be a ticket to Dynamite just yet. Nevertheless, it certainly keeps the rumor mill from walking the plank.

For now, Kofi and Austin Creed are officially set to join Jericho’s cruise this November, while fans continue waiting to see where the former New Day stars land next.
