Kelly Clarkson expertly turned a potentially risky wardrobe mishap into a humorous moment during a recent show at her Las Vegas residency.

The “Since U Been Gone” singer, 44, is currently performing a string of Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions concerts at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, before returning to New York to wrap up her daytime talk show this fall.

In social media clips of the moment, Clarkson is seen chatting with the audience in between songs. Wearing black satin pants and a sheer button-down blouse, she said to the crowd, “There’s a lot amazing things happening,” just as a gust of wind blows her top up, revealing her black bra.

“Uh oh, there’s my boobs,” she quipped, quickly pushing the shirt down. “They’re too small, they won’t come out. You’re fine.

“They’re perfect,” she clarified, “but I just mean they’re not going anywhere.”

The audience broke out into laughter and applause during the interaction, with one person shouting, “You’re so beautiful!”

Clarkson swiftly corrected herself, saying she wanted to take back the self-deprecating joke because of the Lion’s Gate Portal, a celestial event that peaked August 8.

“I’m gonna be honest with you — somebody was like, ‘It’s the Lion’s Gate Portal. It’s 8/8/8. There’s so much energy out, don’t speak negatively,’ [so] right when I made a self-deprecating joke, I’m like, ‘Just kidding, universe, my boobs are awesome,’” she explained. “It’s in my head, so as soon as I heard self-deprecation, I was like, ‘Just kidding!’”

The three-time Grammy winner has been performing her Las Vegas residency since July 11 during her talk show’s annual summer break. She will perform her final string of concerts through August 15, before filming the final episodes of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The show, which Clarkson has hosted for the past seven years, will officially come to an end this fall.

In February, the “Breakaway” artist announced she was ending her talk show in order to “prioritize” her children, following the death of their father, her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, in August 2025.

“I have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at [The Kelly Clarkson Show], both in Los Angeles and New York,” Clarkson wrote on Instagram at the time.

“There have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons. I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner.

“Because of all of that, this was not an easy decision, but this season will be my last hosting [The Kelly Clarkson Show]. Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.”

She assured fans that “this isn’t goodbye. I’ll still be making music, playing shows here and there and you may catch me on The Voice from time to time … you never know where I might show up next.”

“But for now, I want to thank y’all so much for allowing our show to be a part of your lives, and for believing in us and hanging with us for seven incredible years,” Clarkson concluded.
