The 32-year-old, who has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection to the killing of his parents, is currently in custody at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles. Since entering the jail system on Dec. 15, Nick has been placed under heightened supervision by authorities.

While Nick remains in solitary confinement ahead of his Wednesday arraignment, he is no longer required to wear a jail-issued suicide prevention smock according to multiple outlets, including PEOPLE and TMZ. Suicide prevention smocks are stiff, thick garments that can not be folded and are intended to stop the smocks from being fashioned into a noose.
