Mariel Hemingway took a break from everyday life to reconnect with nature in her latest photo.

The actress rose to stardom with breakout roles in Lipstick and Manhattan during the ’70s, one of which earned her a Golden Globe nomination at just 14 years old. She went on to star in many acclaimed films and TV shows, including Superman IV: The Quest for Peace and Delirious.

The granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway, 64, now focuses on a holistic approach to life and helping women, with her social media bio noting that she focuses on healing "women’s grief of unlived dreams," while helping them rebuild their confidence

Each post she shares provides food for thought, along with an unfiltered glimpse into her life and wellness journey.

Most recently, she shared a stunning snapshot as she posed in nature, surrounded by trees and dogs.

Smiling brightly, she sat in the Sukhasana yoga pose with her legs crossed on the grass, wearing a black spaghetti-strap top and biker shorts. The pose is often associated with mindfulness and moments of stillness and calm.

Hemingway's caption gave a bit more insight into her state of mind, as she wrote, "You can't think your way out of overthinking. That voice in your head? She's not a thinking problem. She's a nervous system pattern."

"Hypervigilance disguised as wisdom," she continued, adding, "And she won't stop until your nervous system learns what safety actually feels like."

It promoted her upcoming Tea Circle titled "The Voice That Won't Shut Up."

Supportive comments flowed in, as one fan and follower wrote, "Beautiful picture by one very beautiful woman I must say," and another noted, "Oh my so relaxing and beautiful Mariel."

Someone else called her a "balanced beauty."

In yet another snapshot, she shared a make-up free post, as she sipped on a beverage from a white mug and discussed real closure in the caption.

Hemingway has been open about how her struggles with mental health have shaped her outlook on life. In 2024, during an appearance on Oprah’s Super Soul, she discussed how seven members of her family, including her grandfather and sisterMargaux Hemingway, died by suicide, and the impact that had on her.

She also addressed her family's history in a social media post, writing, "I was born into a family where tragedy was almost tradition" and "pattern repeated itself like a dark inheritance."

Coming out of it on the other side and continuing to advocate for awareness and open discussions surrounding mental health, she concluded, "You are not your history. You are its healing."

If you or someone you know is contemplating suicide or struggling with suicidal thoughts, help is available 24 hours a day through the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988.
